P.F. Bruwer’s second book (1986), an Afrikaans political tract that reads the end of colonial rule in Angola, Mozambique, Kenya, Algeria and Rhodesia as a warning for Afrikaners and argues for an Afrikaner volkstaat. It sold more than 4,000 copies. A period document of the volkstaat movement of the 1980s, offered for its historical interest.

Pieter F. Bruwer, born in 1955, is a South African author who writes in Afrikaans. His non-fiction includes Die Derde Vryheidsoorlog woed… Ons kan wen (1986), which describes how the Afrikaner became a minority in South Africa after 1910, and Vir Volk en Vryheid (1988, Oranjewerkers Promosies), a history of the Afrikaner nation. He is also listed as a contributor to Afrikanerland – 'n Gebiedsaanduiding. His writing is not only political: KODEKS is a book of poetry, and Republiek Afrikana is also among his titles listed here.
