Colwyn Edward Vulliamy (1886–1971), credited as C. E. Vulliamy, was an Anglo-Welsh biographer, historian and author, born in Glasbury, Radnorshire. His books include James Boswell (1932), Mrs Thrale of Streatham (1936), Royal George (1937) and Outlanders: A Study of Imperial Expansion in South Africa, 1877–1902 (1938), listed here. Under the pen name Anthony Rolls he also wrote crime fiction, among it The Vicar's Experiments (1932), Family Matters (1933) and Scarweather (1934). His Don Among the Dead Men (1952) was adapted for the cinema as A Jolly Bad Fellow.
Vulliamy died in September 1971.
